Donut Media is back with another "Everything you need to know" video, this time on the ubiquitous Chevrolet Camaro.

The Camaro was unleashed on the American public back in September 1966 to compete with another famous muscle car called the Ford Mustang. Chevy GM Pete Estes even called the press shortly after the first one was built to say, "The Panther is dead; long live the Camaro." He also claimed the name was French. It was not.

Since then, we've seen six generations, countless special editions and thousands of Camaro-based race cars, all leading up to the 455-hp, V8 monster we have today. Put your history hat on and settle in Camaro fans -- you won't be disappointed.
