The Ram 1500 TRX is one of the coolest, and most absurd, pickups you can buy today. Powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, the TRX takes the heart of a Hellcat and stuffs it into a Baja-inspired full-size pickup. As you’d expect, the Ram 1500 TRX isn’t cheap and currently sets you back $80,585 before any options or dealer market adjustments are thrown on top. Helping you skip checking boxes, Ram is unleashing a special-edition TRX that crests $100,000.

Dubbed the Sandblast Edition, this modified Ram 1500 TRX sets you back $98,285 before the obligatory $1,795 destination charge. That pushes the price to $100,080. For that price, you’ll get a special color, 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels, and a panoramic sunroof, among other options. The Sandblast Edition comes with special light frost accent stitching on the interior and a special badge on the center console.

As for power, the Sandblast Edition doesn’t see any change, and that shouldn’t be upsetting. It still sends 702 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission and into a standard four-wheel-drive system. The suspension, too, is unchanged, but that just means it’s still sporting the adaptive Bilstein dampers and the other high-tech goodies that help this TRX handle desert sand.

You’ll have to wait until summer if you want to add this special-edition TRX to your stable. Ram doesn’t mention if the Desert Edition will have limited production, but with the ultra-high sticker price, it might become one of the more uncommon versions of an already uncommon pickup truck.
